Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:

Arrival

You will be warmly welcomed upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your lodge.

Additional accommodation before the safari begins can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha city

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Under the Shade Safari Lodge for relaxation after your journey.

If time allows, you may choose to join an optional Arusha city tour. This excursion can include visits to the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, a local market, and the vibrant Maasai Market, where you can experience local culture and craftsmanship.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari adventure begins with departure at approximately 7:40 am for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-hour drive away.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During your game drive, you will explore seasonal swamps, open savannah, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Expect to encounter giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species.

In the late afternoon, you will travel to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.

Weather permitting, you will stop briefly at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint to admire the breathtaking crater below. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way before entering the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.

As the sun sets over the endless plains, you will head to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Rise early for a sunrise game drive at 6:00 am, when wildlife is most active. This early exploration increases your chances of spotting predators returning from their nightly hunts.

Later, enjoy breakfast at a scenic picnic site within the park before continuing your game drive until midday.

After lunch, depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands. In the evening, arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, located on the crater rim, offering spectacular views.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Early in the morning at 6:00 am, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site covers approximately 260 square kilometers and is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.

Spend about five hours exploring the crater floor, observing diverse species in this unique ecosystem.

After your safari, return to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania adventure.
