Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins in Arusha, where you’ll meet your safari guide and depart on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds and impressive baobab trees. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a game drive in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, allowing excellent views across the park’s varied landscapes, including seasonal swamps, open savannah, and the Tarangire River.
Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs, lions, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species.
In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
You’ll start the day early, departing with packed breakfast and lunch for the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. You’ll spend about five hours exploring the crater floor, which is home to a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.
After the game drive, you’ll ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
