Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from your lodge at 8:00 a.m. and drive 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Explore the park in an open-roof safari vehicle, observing giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, impalas, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. Picnic lunch is served at a scenic spot within the park. Continue your game drive en route to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge – Mid-range lodge outside Ngorongoro Crater
Meals & Drinks: All meals included, drinks included (except spirits/liquor)
Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire & Surroundings (Optional)
Spend additional time exploring Tarangire’s wildlife-rich landscapes, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. Optional activities include bird watching or walking safaris around lodge areas. Return to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha
Early morning departure at 6:00 a.m. for a descent into Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. Spend 5–6 hours exploring the crater’s diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and, if lucky, black rhinos. Enjoy lunch at a scenic hippo pool picnic site before ascending and returning to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
