Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your professional safari driver-guide and transferred to Forest Hill Lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Driving Time: 1–1.5 hrs

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, capturing sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, and an array of birds. In the evening, settle into Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp, surrounded by the park’s natural beauty.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with opportunities for wildlife spotting en route. Arrive at Signature Serengeti Camp in time for an afternoon game drive, exploring the Serengeti’s famous plains and big cat territories.

Day 6 & 7: Full Days in Serengeti National Park

Spend two full days exploring Serengeti National Park. Engage in morning and afternoon game drives across its vast plains, witnessing Big Five sightings and, seasonally, the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a walking safari to further immerse yourself in the wilderness. Return each evening to Signature Serengeti Camp.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, depart Serengeti with a game drive en route through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at Serena Ngorongoro Lodge, perched on the crater rim, offering panoramic views and luxurious comfort for dinner and overnight.

Driving Time: 4–5 hrs (including game drive stops)

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Witness one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. After a scenic picnic lunch at the hippo pool, ascend the crater and continue to Acacia Farm Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Lake Eyasi – Return to Arusha (Departure)

Drive to Lake Eyasi for a cultural encounter with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and Datoga pastoralists, experiencing traditional lifestyles and practices. After this cultural immersion, continue to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, concluding your safari adventure.

Driving Time: 1.5 hrs (Karatu – Lake Eyasi) + 4–5 hrs (Lake Eyasi – Arusha)
