Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:
Day 1: Zanzibar to Northern Serengeti – Mara River Game Drive
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Northern Serengeti. Enjoy a scenic journey over Tanzania’s diverse landscapes before landing at Kogatende Airstrip around late morning.
Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will welcome you and brief you on the day’s activities. You will then begin your first game drive in the Northern Serengeti, heading towards the famous Mara River area. This region is renowned for the dramatic Great Migration river crossings, where wildebeest and zebras face strong currents and lurking crocodiles as they attempt to cross.
After an exciting afternoon of wildlife viewing, you will proceed to your tented camp located inside Serengeti National Park. Enjoy dinner and relax under the African sky.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Northern Serengeti
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains and rolling savannahs of the Northern Serengeti. After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch or return to camp for a hot lunch depending on wildlife movements.
The Mara River remains the highlight, especially during migration season, but the area offers exceptional wildlife year-round. You may encounter large lion prides, leopards resting in acacia trees, elephants roaming the plains, buffalo herds, and cheetahs scanning the horizon. The Northern Serengeti is also home to rich birdlife, with more than 500 species recorded.
Your guide will carefully track wildlife movements to ensure the best possible viewing opportunities throughout the day.
In the late afternoon, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Northern Serengeti to Zanzibar – Morning Game Drive & Departure

After the game drive, you will transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your late morning flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Serengeti safari experience.
